McCrossen's Tavern Irish Whiskey Dinner, March 19

Despite its name, McCrossen’s Tavern isn’t doing a St. Patrick’s Day bash this year. No, the Fairmount bar is going Irish classy instead. On Tuesday, March 19, the restaurant will host a four-course dinner paired with Irish whiskey and cheese for $40 per person.

Chef Townsend Wentz will be cooking up his best matchups for glasses of fine Irish whiskey. Expect to sample Kilbeggan, made by one of the world’s oldest distilleries; Tyrconnel Single Malt;  small-batch Greenore 8 Year Single Grain; and Connemara Peated Single Malt, which holds the distinction of being the only peated Irish single malt.

Make reservations for the 6:30 PM prix fixe by calling the restaurant, and let the world know Irish drinking is about much more than green beer.
