Our good friend Caitlin shows you how to make some mouthwatering margarita chicken wings with Jose Cuervo.
Recipe:
Ingredients:
2 1/2 lbs. of chicken wings, separated at joint
1/2 cup of tequila or mescal
1/4 cup frozen orange juice concentrate
Grated zest of 1 lemon
Juice of 1 lemon
1 garlic cloves, minced
palmful of ground cumin
Combine all ingredients (except the wings of course!) in a large bowl. This is your marinade!
Pour marinade over the chicken. Marinate.
Bake or grill chicken until crispy on the outside. Top w/ a mixture of chopped tomatoes, parsley, lemon juice and olive oil.
1 t. fresh black pepper
1 t. of salt
2 T. of cilantro, minced
Wash wings and place in large plastic food bag.
In a bowl combine remaining ingredients. Seal bag and refrigerate overnight.
Prepare a med-hot charcoal or gas fire. Drain wings, discarding marinade. Grill wings about 25 minutes, turning often until they are slightly charred but not burnt (25 minutes)
