13th Annual Sly Fox Bock Fest and Goat Race, May 5

This Sunday, May 5, is not only Cinco de Mayo — it’s also the date of the 13th annual Sly Fox Bock Fest and Goat Race. Beer! Goats! What more could you ask for? The event features perhaps the largest selection anywhere of bock-style beers from a single brewery, and there’s a special German-themed food menu to go along.

Festivities run from 11 AM–6 PM, and take place outside, in front of the brewery’s Phoenixville pub under a big tent. That’s where you’ll find beer and food, all available on a pay-as-you-go basis. Around the back of the facility is where the goats will actually race, providing much amusement and excitement.

It’s set to be a nearly perfect spring day, so if you’re into brews outdoors, and/or into goats, make plans to head out.
