The June edition of Ristorante Panorama’s Friday Night Flights is a tribute to Robert Mondavi. The California wine pioneer would have celebrated his 100th birthday this week, and in his honor the wine tasting on Friday, June 14 will feature several Napa Valley appellation wines.
When you pick up a $25 advance ticket (here; $35 at the door), you’ll be treated to a flight of wines that includes Fumé Blanc Napa Valley and Fumé Blanc Reserve, Chardonnay, Carneros Pinot Noir, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Sommelier William Eccleston will lead a discussion of the different varietals and vintages, and you’ll also enjoy some cheese and hors d’oeuvres to go with your vino. The tasting runs from 6–8 PM.
