Third Annual MGK Brew Blast on the Battleship New Jersey, September 21
This might be the most unique venue for a beer fest ever. For the third year, brewers will take over the main deck of the Battleship New Jersey, the historic, decommissioned ship that’s now a museum across from Philadelphia in the Delaware River.
The third annual MGK Brew Blast goes down on Saturday, September 21, from 1–5 PM, and you can get a ticket online here for $45 per person. In between sampling over 50 different craft beers, you can duck under cannons and get a tour of the ship’s inner workings, or simply enjoy the breeze under the tented event area. If you buy six tickets, you’ll get $5 off per ticket.
Whether by Riverlink Ferry, NJ Transit River Line, PATCO or driving ($10 parking is available nearby), it’s easy to get over to 100 Clinton Street in Camden for the fest. Look for vendors selling t-shirts and all kinds of beer geek knickknacks, and of course lots of live classic rock curated by 102.9 WMGK air staff. Boom.
