Drink Local at the 3rd Annual West Philly Homebrew Competition at Dock Street Brewing, April 27

Dock Street Brewing Co is hosting its 3rd Annual Homebrew Competition on Sunday, April 27. This competition spotlights Philadelphia-based homebrewers and invites Philadelphia-based beer drinkers to vote for the “People’s Choice Award”. If you happen to be a Philly homebrewer looking to compete, come scope out the competition and keep an eye out for next year’s sign-ups because this year’s competition is at capacity.

So how does this all work? Homebrewers from basements and kitchens, garages and backyards across Philadelphia will showcase their crazy brewing talents. All you have to do is grab a ticket, head over to Dock Street on Sunday between 5 and 7 PM to sample the brews, and cast your People's Choice vote. Our own Editor-in-Chief, Collin Keefe, will be one of the judges for the overall winner. Tickets are $10 each and include cover, beer samples, and voting rights.
