6th Annual 2nd Street Festival Takes Over Northern Liberties, Aug 3
The mega block party, known as the 2nd Street Festival, is back to take over Northern Liberties for a sixth year in a row.
The 2nd Street Festival stretches down 2nd Street in Northern Liberties from Germantown Avenue to Green Street, and fills the neighborhood with local vendors of all shapes and sizes. The street overflows with food from local restaurants and food trucks, arts and crafts vendors, beer gardens with brews by Brooklyn Brewery, Flying Fish, Leinenkugel, Yards, Stoudts, Pabst Blue Ribbon, and Miller Lite, plenty of local businesses, and four stages. The great Philadelphia Folksong Society has partnered with the festival again to program the music for the day, which includes a little bit of everything.
The festival takes place Sunday, August 3, rain or shine, from Noon to 10 PM, with programming and activities throughout the day. It’s free to attend with pay as you go food and drinks. For more information click here.
