Fat Ham Hosts Lowcountry Boil, Tues., Aug. 5

Join Top Chef champion Kevin Sbraga on Tues., Aug. 5 at his University City southern comforter The Fat Ham for a traditional Lowcountry Boil, the southeastern coast's time-honored answer to a New England clambake.

The boil will feature a bounty of summer’s peak offerings, including shrimp and blue crab claws, as well as house made smoked garlic sausage, potatoes, and corn served alongside some of the restaurant’s new summer cocktails. The $90 per person cost covers food, drinks, tax and gratuity.

The Lowcountry Boil menu includes:

Cucumber and Tomato Salad with shaved red onion and red wine vinegar

Shrimp, Crab Claws, and Garlic Sausage with corn on the cob and potatoes

Peach Cobbler with whipped cream

Drinks lined up include:

Philly Fish House Punch with dark rum, brandy, peaches, and tea

Plum and Watermelon Sangria with rose and elderflower

Miller High Life - The Champagne of Beers
