5th Annual Crab Fest Returns to City Tap House, Sun., Aug. 17

Crab freaks take note: City Tap House’s annual Crab Fest returns on Sunday, August 17, with all-you-can-eat blue crabs, tons of sides that go great with them and some cool craft brews from New Jersey’s Carton Brewing Company, all for just one low price.

From 12 noon until 4 PM, Chef Chad Vetter will serve up crabs, served crab boil style with corn on the cob and potatoes. The crabs are unlimited, and you can stuff as many as you’d like down your beer hole for just $35 a person.

You can wash it all down with specially priced brews from Carton Brewing Company. Featured beers include The Wit Whale, a wheat beer-pilsner hybrid brewed with Sorachi Ace hops; Panzanella, a salted ale with a biscuity malt character with hints of garlic, tomatoes and cucumbers that call to mind the flavors of the classic Italian bread salad; and Carton Canyon, an agave-infused lager with smoky notes and tropical sweetness from papaya.

Delaware’s Cassidy & Barely Rarely will provide the music.

Since Crab Fest tends to draw huge crowds — it’s one of the Tap House’s most popular events all yearreservations are strongly encouraged. Call 215-662-0105 to book them.
