Grab a glass and get excited! Philly Wine Week is back for a second year with more events, more participating bars and restaurants and, of course, more wine. If you’re a dedicated wine connoisseur or just enjoy learning about and tasting new wines, you’re sure to find a good time during Philly Wine Week.
Wine Week was founded with the mission of promoting wine knowledge, the enjoyment of wine and fostering a sense of community among the many great people and places throughout the city that are passionate about wine. This year’s Wine Week will feature more participants hosting tastings, dinners, talks and many more exciting events.
It all kicks off on Sunday, March 22, with ‘Opening Corks’ at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. From there, the week continues with daily wine-centric events at bars, restaurants and venues across the city, concluding with a closing party on Sunday, March 29. In addition to the slew of special events, a nightly ‘Wine at Nine’ will be held where everyone from industry members to the wine loving public is invited to come together and raise a glass after an exciting day of tasting and learning.
