Wine and beer pairing dinners have become commonplace. Del Frisco’s and Bluecoat Gin are teaming up to present a gin pairing dinner that will really kick things up a notch and rock your palette.

Del Frisco’s Executive Chef John Stritzinger and Philadelphia Distilling’s Portfolio Manager and Beverage Development Specialist Chris Chamberlain will guide guests through five exciting courses paired with a variety of classic cocktails featuring Bluecoat American Dry Gin and the limited release Bluecoat Barrel Finished Gin. Guests will also be treated to a special behind-the-scenes look at the distillation process with Aaron Seyla and Bill Tambussi, the distillers of Bluecoat Gin.

Guests will be treated to hors d’oeuvres like Coffee Cured Duck and Mini Beef Wellington paired with a Negroni made with Bluecoat Barrel Finished Gin and main dishes like Sea Bass with roasted sweet potato hash and vanilla beurre blanc paired with The Great Sage made with Bluecoat Gin, sweet potato infused sherry, apricot liqueur, lemon, nutmeg and fresh sage.

And what Del Frisco’s meal would be complete without a steak? Guests will enjoy the famous Grilled Ribeye with roasted red pepper, red bliss potatoes and corn on the cob paired with a New Old Fashioned featuring Bluecoat Barrel Finished Gin, brown butter wash, fire roasted corn syrup, fresh orange and luxardo cherries.

The dinner starts at 6:30 PM on Wednesday, April 29. Seats are available for $125 per person and can be reserved by calling 215-246-0533 or emailing Jessica Kiefer at jkiefer@dfrg.com
