Pirate Weekend at Tall Ships Tavern Promises Swashbuckling Fun for All, Aug. 6-9
Ahoy, matey! It’s Pirate Weekend at Tall Ships Tavern at Independence Seaport Museum. Grab your parrot and make your way to the waterfront for a swashbuckling good time.
Programing for the weekend includes pirate-themed scavenger hunts with prizes like Sailor Jerry t-shirts and discounts on rum drinks, pirate name tags so guests can assume a pirate-y identity, peg legs for guests to try on, pirate-themed crafts for swashbucklers of all ages, and a performance by the Sea Dogs on Saturday from 1–6 PM.
Sip on drinks like the Hello Sailor made with Sailor Jerry’s Spiced Rum and iced tea and craft brews from Troegs and Victory.
The Tall Ships Tavern is open Thursday from 5–10 PM, Friday from 5–11 PM, Saturday from 12–11 PM, and Sunday from 12–7 PM. The Tavern is located on the second floor patio at Independence Seaport Museum at Penn's Landing.
