Have a Blast Playing Human Battleship at Tall Ships Tavern's Navy Weekend, Aug. 14-16
Can you survive Navy Bootcamp? Obstacles and challenges will be set up all weekend so you can flex your muscles. If you’re looking for a more leisurely activity, play a round of Human Battleship. On Saturday, the Living History Crew, featuring pirates and historical figures, will be at the Tavern. And on Sunday, see the one man show “Defending the Caveman” and hang out with the Caveman himself at the tavern after the show. Then, Mia Johnson will be performing at the Tavern from 4–7 PM.
Sip on drinks like The Admiral made with Sailor Jerry’s Spiced Rum and ginger beer and craft brews from Troegs and Victory. Smoke Delights will be out all weekend providing delicious eats like chicken, seitan, and beef skewers, pork loin sandwiches, coleslaw, potato salad,
The Tall Ships Tavern is open Friday from 5–11 PM, Saturday from 12–11 PM, and Sunday from 12–7 PM. The Tavern is located on the second-floor patio at Independence Seaport Museum at Penn's Landing.
