Spend the Afternoon with Cesare Benvenuto of Pio Cesare, Sept. 11
Winemaker Cesare Benvenuto will be swinging through the area for a small tour on Friday, September 11, and you’re invited along. Join the Italian winemaker for an afternoon and evening of wine tasting from Wilmington, Delaware to Philadelphia.
Cesare Benvenuto will make his first stop at FranksWine in Wilmington from 4–6 PM. There he will hold an in-shop tasting of his Single Vineyard wines. To accompany the wines, a spread of DiBruno Bros cheeses, charcuterie, spreads, and flatbreads will be set up alongside chocolates from Ethereal Confections.
The second stop of the evening will be at Panorama in Old City. Cesare Benvenuto will be present for a walk-around tasting reception from 6–9 PM. The reception will also boast a “Selezione Appropriata” of passed light antipasti prepared by Panorama’s Chef Gentile.
