Emmanuelle to Close Its Doors on November 30
Today brings sad news from Philly’s craft cocktail scene - Emmanuelle, which has spent a great few years tucked away in the Piazza at Northern Liberties, will close on November 30.
Both head bartenders, Phoebe Esmon and Christian Gaal, are both moving away, so up until then, they’ll be hosting a series of incredible guest bartenders culminating in a final, blowout cocktail menu to be entitled “Can I Move?”. A sampling of the bartenders includes Resa Mueller (of Twenty Manning Grill and Emmanuelle itself), Christina Rando (of Brick & Mortar), and Sara Justice (of Franklin Mortgage & Investment Co.), among others. On November 30, be sure to stop by and toast to Emmanuelle’s third birthday and closing night.
Open since 2012, Emmanuelle got its start from PYT’s Tommy Up, and has since grown to become one of the premier craft cocktail bars in Philadelphia. It’ll be a tough loss, but surely, Eamon and Gaal will bring their mixology expertise to wherever they head next.
