We all know Philadelphia is a beer town, but that might change with the arrival of the city’s first Cocktail Week. From Monday, November 2 through Sunday, November 8, bars and restaurants throughout Manayunk will be celebrating spirits of all varieties with signature cocktails, tasting and pairing events, great drink specials, competitions, and much more.
The inaugural Manayunk Cocktail Week is sponsored by Capital Wine and Spirits. Area bars and restaurants will be serving up $5 signature cocktails all week long featuring spirits like Hendrick’s, Reyka, Tullamore Dew, Bird Dog, Stoli, Kraken, and more.

Stop by Derek’s for an Original Sinfire made with Stoli Karamel and cinnamon whiskey or Bourbon Blue for a Spiced Pear Mojito featuring Kraken Rum, pear and cinnamon simple syrup, apple juice, club soda, and mint or a Bourbon Sour with Bird Dog Bourbon, fresh lemon, simple syrup, and a red wine float. Other $5 signature cocktails include a New Amsterdam Moscow Mule at Lucky’s Last Chance, the El Duderino, a Taqueria Feliz twist on a White Russian, a Bird Dog Apple Whiskey Hot Toddy at Winnie’s, and many, many more.
In addition to great cocktails all week long, Manayunk bars and restaurants will be holding special events everyday. Make reservations now for the five-course Reyka Vodka Dinner at Derek’s on Tuesday, November 3, or the three-course Flor De Cana Nicaraguan Rum Dinner being offered at Jake’s and Cooper’s from Tuesday through Thursday. You could also stop by the special Side Project Jerky and Scotch pairing at Lucky’s Last Chance on Wednesday, November 4, or head to The Goat’s Beard on Thursday, November 5 for Tullamore Dew Whiskey Sours and samples of Victory beers. There are plenty of events to choose from during this week-long celebration.
