Meet Dave Pickerell, Master Distiller of WhistlePig, at The Trestle Inn, Nov. 5

It’s not often that you get to meet a Master Distiller. But you can do just that at The Trestle Inn on Thursday, November 5. Meet the man behind the famed whiskey, WhistlePig, and sample some of WhistlePig’s finest offerings.

Dave Pickerell will be hanging out at The Trestle Inn from 9–11 PM on November 5 to talk about WhistlePig’s rye whiskeys. Before Pickerell worked for WhistlePig, he was the Master Distiller at Maker’s Mark for 14 years. To say he knows whiskey is an understatement. 

In addition to talking shop, you can also sample three WhistlePig ryes including the 10 Year, Old World 12 Year, and Sherry Finish. The 10 Year is aged through a unique double-barrel process, while the Old World 12 Year is finished in European wine casks of Port, Madeira, and French Sauternes and then blended. The Sherry Finish is a 12 Year that is finished strictly in sherry casks. Sherry Finish isn’t yet available in stores, so be among the first to try this unique rye. WhistlePig 10 Year Rye Manhattans will also be available for $10.
