Donate a Coat, Get a Beer at Taproom on 19th, Jan. 13

This winter has been a rollercoaster of temperatures so far, but the chill has definitely settled in. Nobody should be without a winter coat this time of year and Taproom on 19th is inviting you to donate a new or gently used winter coat to help keep Philly warm.
 

Taproom on 19th and Girard Estate Neighbors Association will be collecting winter coats, jackets, gloves, and anything warm on Wednesday, January 13, in exchange for a Lord Chesterfield Ale or a discount on a special cocktail. Donations will be accepted all day long.
 

And if you’re feeling a little chilly, warm up with a little swing and jazz performed by The Gin Canaries from 7–10 PM. Additionally, Rhode Island’s Newport Storm Brewing Co will be taking over a few taps that evening. Look for Newport Storm’s India Point Ale, Smoked Porter, Rlèzes (a barrel aged Belgian), and the Irish Red Ale on cask.
