Celebrate the First Day of Spring at Chaddsford Winery's Spring Wine Festival, March 19-20

The clocks have sprung ahead, the weather is getting warmer, and that means spring is almost here. Spring’s official arrival is this Sunday, and Chaddsford Winery is celebrating with a Spring Wine Festival on Saturday and Sunday, March 19 and 20.

The winery will be hosting food trucks, live music, and gardening demonstrations on both days, and their 2015 Spring Wine will be released. This special seasonal wine is being bottled this week, and festival attendees can grab a glass for half-price all weekend long. Glasses are only $2.50 each and will be served with complimentary Sweetzels Lemon Snaps.

Learn all about gardening at two special demonstrations by Poseidon Ponds & Gardens. The Seed Starting Workshop will teach you how to get your favorite herbs and vegetables started indoors from seeds. Catch this workshop at 11:30 AM and 2:30 PM. If you prefer succulents, be sure to grab a seat at the Woodland/Succulent Baskets demo at 1 PM and 4 PM. Learn how to make a one-of-a-kind basket with expert guidance.

If you’d rather just relax and enjoy the arrival of spring, grab a snack from the Pizzaria Pronto or Waffles & Wedges food trucks while listening to live tunes by Rick Snow on Saturday from 1–4 PM and Christine Kinslow on Sunday from 1–4 PM.
