Tickets Now on Sale For Philly Beer Week's Opening Tap, June 3

Philly Beer Week is coming up soon, and PBW’s kickoff party, Opening Tap, has found itself a cool new venue: The Fillmore, Fishtown’s favorite concert venue.

On Friday, June 3 from 7-10 PM, the Fillmore will be filled to the brim with beer, great food, and guests looking to start Beer Week off right. $46 will get you a General Admission ticket, which includes access to complimentary beers from 30 different breweries, along with a souvenir glass for tastings. $92 will get you a VIP Ticket, which will let you head into the event at 6 PM (a full hour early) to snag samples from the brand new Brewery ARS, along with a buffet sponsored by Whole Foods.

Live music and entertainment will be on hand as well, and of course, the event will begin with the presentation of the Hammer of Glory, as well as a ceremonial tapping of Brotherly Suds 7, a collaboration between Philly-based breweries like Iron Hill, Sly Fox, Victory, Troegs, Flying Fish, Yards, and Stoudt’s. This party will also see the premiere of Fire, Flood & Plague, a new beer created by teams from Yards and Brouwerij DeMolen of Amsterdam. In order to showcase Philly’s amazing beer scene, new regulations will require all beers to be brewed within a 100 mile radius of City Hall.

Grab your tickets today and gear up for a great start to Philly Beer Week!
