According to a statement directly from the Governor’s office, it is now legal for beer distributors to sell six-packs in addition to cases.
That’s not all the bill covers, as it’s designed to make beer sales much more “convenient” for PA customers - in addition to the six-pack rule, distributors can now begin selling at 9 AM on Sundays, can sell refillable growlers, and lets breweries sell products from other licensed breweries and wineries.
Governor Wolf has been working on relaxing PLCB laws, especially as it pertains to wine and beer sales, and this is yet another step in the right direction.
