Troegs Nugget Nectar Beer Now Available in Philadelphia

If nothing else, 2017’s beer scene is already off to a great start, with Tröegs Independent Brewing Co. releasing its first batch of Nugget Nectar of the new year.

Made with Nugget, Palisade and Simcoe hops, Nugget Nectar has developed somewhat of a cult following thanks to its unique taste and limited releases each year, and this Imperial Amber Ale will be the impetus for several events throughout central PA, Philadelphia, and select locations in Ohio. Several artists have teamed up with Tröegs to create their own take on the Nugget Nectar artwork, and the “First Squeeze” series of events will feature a different artist showcasing their work alongside the beer itself.

Nugget Nectar will be released in waves throughout the East Coast due to high demand, and the schedule is as follows:

January 9 – South Central PA, Lehigh Valley, Philadelphia, Ohio
January 16 – North Central PA, Western PA, State College, Scranton
January 23 – New Jersey, Maryland, Washington D.C., Delaware
January 30 – North Carolina, Virginia, Connecticut, New York, Massachusetts
