Fourth Annual Philly Wine Week Kicks Off With Opening Corks Gala, March 19
Philly Wine Week, which is now in its fourth year, begins on Sunday, March 19 and ends on Sunday, March 26, and to celebrate, the Opening Corks gala will kick off the week on Sunday, March 19 from 6 PM - 9 PM at the Academy of Natural Sciences.
Featuring over 100 premium whites, rosés, sparklings, and reds, Opening Corks, Wine Week’s signature starting event, is finding a new home this year at the Academy, allowing guests to imbibe right next to dinosaurs and butterflies.
Participating restaurants, which will be offering everything from snacks and cheese to dessert, include The Good King Tavern, Tria, Di Bruno Bros., American Sardine Bar and South Philly Taproom, Birchrun Hills Farm and The Farm at Doe Run, and Whole Foods Market.
Tickets are $65 per person, but if you purchase before March 1, you can snag an early bird discount for just $52. Pick up your tickets here before they sell out, so you can start Wine Week the right way.
