The massive Whole Foods Market in Fairmount has had a few bars since its opening, but it is also now selling bottles of wine - and it’s not the only one. Five other stores (Wynnewood, Devon, Glen Mills, Plymouth Meeting, and Allentown) are also selling full bottles of wine.
The Center City store currently offers 15 varietals, but they plan on expanding and are consistently bringing in new bottles. Going forward, they’ll be adding shelving and over fifty new wines to the store’s selection.
The wine store is located just near the Cocktail Cart, Allegro Coffee Bar, and Parkway Pub, each of which offer wines by the glass alongside beer and cocktails, which guests can enjoy with a meal from any number of vendors, including Cheu Noodle Bar, Dizengoff, Severino Pasta, and more.
If you’re heading to a BYOB in the neighborhood, you can now stop at Whole Foods to pick up a bottle to pair with your meal, and their selection will only grow as time goes on.
