Drink Locally at the First Annual Pennsylvania Spirits Convention, March 23

On Thursday, March 23, Philadelphians will have the chance to drink local at the first ever Pennsylvania Spirits Convention at Citizens Bank Park on from 6:30 - 9 PM.

Almost every craft distillery in Pennsylvania will be represented at the event, including Boyd and Blair (Pittsburgh), Social Still (Bethlehem), Bluebird Distilling (Phoenixville), Barrel 21 Distillery (State College), Old Republic Distillery (York), Stateside Urbancraft Vodka (Philadelphia), Manatawny Still Works (Pottstown), and more. With an open venue that encourages guests to discover this state’s spirits without leaving Philadelphia and the opportunity to learn from and speak to distilling experts, this is a one-of-a-kind event that you certainly won’t want to miss.

The event isn’t just a tasting, but will feature a diverse array of activities and attractions, including book signings, a cigar patio, a cocktail competition where the guests are the judge, local shops and vendors on hand to sell their wares, small bites to pair with your spirits, a Luxury Lounge, and so much more.

DrinkPhilly readers get a special opportunity to get general admission tickets for $50, which is $25 off the regular price of $75 and include access to discussion forums, a Gleincairn tasting glass, free parking, and a catered tasting menu. If you want to spring for a $100 VIP ticket, you’ll get all of that plus entry at 5:30 PM, access to a Master Tasting Class with Riannon Walsh, an event tote bag, and access to limited bottles. They also offer a designated driver ticket for $45.

This unique event is the first of its kind to celebrate Pennsylvania’s incredible spirits industry, so get your tickets today and head to Citizens Bank Park on March 23 to celebrate these local gems.
