Science After Hours is Bringing Prom to the Franklin Institute, April 21

The Franklin Institute’s popular Science After Hours program is returning on Friday, April 21 from 7 PM - 10 PM, and this time, they’re bringing prom to the Institute.
Formal dresses are encouraged but not required at this retro prom-inspired event, complete with spiked punch and DJ Robert Drake (from WXPN) spinning throwback hits from the 70s, 80s and 90s. Since the dance floor is set in the planetarium, there will also be some surprise “out of this world” music thrown into the mix!
This prom event is just one of several incredible After Hours events that the Institute has planned for 2017, including a Groovy Sixties party in July and the return of Wizard School in September. You can find the full calendar here and start planning your Institute visits.
Grab your tickets before they sell out, which they usually do fast — you can get them here, and they’re $20 for non-members and $15 for Institute members. All guests at the event must be 21+. Buy tickets today, dust off your prom dress, and get ready to go back to prom.
