Skygarten is Back for the Season with a Grand Relaunch Party, April 19

Skygarten, the beer garden perched atop Sky Philadelphia (formerly Top of the Tower), will reopen with a relaunch party on Wednesday, April 19 from 5 PM - 10 PM with a new beer list, new cocktails, and a new menu.

There are a few changes this season at Skygarten, perhaps the most important of which is the new beer and cocktail list from beverage director Jesse Cornell. Alongside a brand new beer list (which includes great German beers like Schofferhofer, König Ludwig Hefeweizen, Captain Lawrence Effortless IPA and Warsteiner Pils), Skygarten is offering frozen cocktails to kick off the summer, which will range from frozen margaritas to “slushie” versions of craft cocktails. If you’re a bit of a traditionalist, be sure to try out Cornell’s standard cocktail list, which includes an Old Fashioned, a Skyy Citrus Mule, and Cornell’s own creation, The Soda Jerk (mixed with QC Malt as a highball, Lemon Shrub with vodka and Old Dutch with McGillicuddy’s Vanilla).

The food menu is seeing some changes, too — alongside Chef Mark Brinton’s summer menu items like bourbon buffalo wings, mac & cheese balls, and burgers, guests will now receive a pager that goes off when their food is ready, streamlining their entire experience.

On Wednesday, April 19, guests get a beer or glass of wine with their $5 cover — so what better way to kick off outdoor drinking season? Head to Skygarten for their big return and second, even better summer.
