Drink & Dine Like Salvador Dali at Le Cheri, April 26-28 & April 30

Head to Rittenhouse’s Le Chéri for two different Salvador Dalí inspired events, including a cocktail takeover from Wednesday, April 26 through Friday, April 28 followed by a full Dalí dinner on Sunday, April 30 from 5 PM - 8 PM.

The cocktail takeover is open to anyone who wants to head to Le Chéri’s bar, and each drink is named after a famous Dalí artwork, including the Lobster Telephone, 1936 (lobster infused Talisker Storm Single Malt Scotch, Berliner Weisse beer); the L’Age D’or, 1930 (Don Julio Blanco, Ketel One Citroen, sweet vermouth, grapefruit vitters); and the Dream Caused by the Flight of a Bee Around a Pomegranate a Second Before Awakening, 1944 (Bulleit Bourbon, pomegranate juice, honey syrup, lemon juice), so stop in any time to try one of these whimsical cocktails.

However, Sunday’s event will be food and wine focused, with a 4 course dinner (amuse bouche, appetizer, entree and dessert) paired with wines donated by local French vendors. This unique menu will be taken entirely from Dalí’s own cookbook, Dalí: Les Dîners de Gala, which he wrote and illustrated himself, and will be $100 per person including each course and the wine pairings. Tickets must be purchased in advance, and you can find them here. Additionally, the dinner will be held in Gallery B of the Art Alliance with decorations by The Renegade Company, who will whip up some Dalí-inspired Surrealist decor.

Don’t miss the chance to drink and dine like Dalí himself at Le Chéri, so check out the bar specials or reserve your spot at dinner today.
