Celebrate the Start of Summer at the First Annual Penn's Landing Waterfront Day, May 28

Round out your Memorial Day weekend by stopping by the first annual Penn’s Landing Waterfront Day on Sunday, May 28, sponsored by the Spirit of Philadelphia and the Delaware River Waterfront Corporation.

Aside from tons of other activities across the waterfront, one particularly exciting event happening from 2:30 PM - 5:30 PM is the complimentary beer garden, which will take place on the (docked) Spirit of Philadelphia cruise ship! Enjoy views of both Philadelphia and the Delaware River along with a live DJ, a dance floor, rooftop games (including giant Jenga, shuffleboard, and foosball), free light bites, and a full cash bar with drink specials.

If you want to make a day of it on the Spirit, you can also set sail for their lunch cruise earlier in the day, which will take place from 12 PM - 2 PM (boarding at 11:30 AM) and feature a make-your-own Bloody Mary bar and a 3 course lunch buffet. Prices begin at $43.90 per person, so book tickets today.

Summer officially begins on the holiday weekend, so ring it in right by heading to Penn’s Landing and the Spirit of Philadelphia for fun, games, delicious food and drinks, and more!
