The Kimmel Center Will Have a Balcony Bar This Summer
Starting on Wednesday, June 14, the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, in conjunction with Garces, will host a pop-up bar on the Kimmel Center’s balcony throughout the summer.
The Balcony Bar will specialize in happy hour and will be open Wednesdays through Fridays, weather permitting, with free admission and happy hour prices on wine, beer, and Garces-crafted bites. Guests can also enjoy free Wifi from the Kimmel Center and music throughout these happy hours, which will, obviously, provide a fantastic view of Center City.
“We are excited to launch this initiative amid a summer bursting with fantastic programming at the Kimmel Center,” said Anne Ewers, President & CEO of the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. “Center City Sips has become a beloved tradition in our neighborhood and we’re delighted to join in the fun, offering people extended happy hours replete with a beautiful view.”
The bar will be open Wednesdays from 5 PM - 7 PM during Center City Sips, but will also be open from 7 PM - 9 PM on Wednesday evenings and from 5 PM - 9 PM on Thursdays and Friday — so stop by the Kimmel Center this summer for one of the best views in the city and a brand new happy hour.
