SEED Fest, Philly's Only Vegan Food & Beer Festival, is Returning on August 13
On Sunday, August 13, Philly’s only fully vegan food and beer festival, S.E.E.D. (Sustainable Everyday Edibles and Drinkables), will return to Sugarhouse Casino. This event is partnering with Home Brewed Events and Eat Your PHL to bring Philly a festival dedicated entirely to veganism.
With VIP entrance times from 2 PM - 3 PM and general admission entrance times from 3 PM - 6 PM, vegans and carnivores alike will be able to spend an afternoon taste testing vegan beers, vegan cuisine, and even vegan ciders. To sweeten the deal, the event will benefit the Humane League, which works to provide national outreach, education and campaigning on behalf of animals.
Whether you're dedicated to the vegan lifestyle or not, there’s sure to be plenty of food and drink to keep you satisfied. Food vendors like Mompops, Soy Café, and Saint Benjamin Brewing Company Taproom will be serving up delicious vegan eats alongside spirits from Philadelphia Distilling, Rowhouse Spirits, Spirit Forward, and more, and beers and ciders from Home Brewed Events, Sly Fox Beer, Yards Brewing, among others. With specialty shops from local spots like United by Blue and The Random Tea Room, you certainly won’t run out of things to do and see.
Tickets are available here and will run you $35 for a food-only admission, $50 for general admission, and $70 for VIP, which features the extra hour mentioned above and a special VIP speakeasy run by Spirit Forward. Stop by Sugarhouse on Sunday, August 16 for the area’s only completely vegan festival, and experience the best plant-based food and drink Philly has to offer.
