Where to Celebrate Beaujolais Nouveau Day 2017 in Philadelphia, November 16

This coming Thursday, November 16 marks the release of this year’s batch of Beaujolais Nouveau, and lucky for you, Philly has provided a full-neighborhood celebration to enjoy this young wine.

Vintage Wine Bar will host their annual Beaujolais celebration and offer complimentary pours and snacks, along with live music from the Gin Canaries and free giveaways from 5-9 PM.

A.kitchen will also celebrate the release with live music, $6 paté, $10 glasses and $30 bottles of the French wine from 5-10 PM. Chef Eli Collins has also created a four course family-style French meal for two for the evening. Dishes include onion tart, frisée salad, braised beef cheeks and tarte tatin.

Enjoy a four course French wine dinner at Lacroix in their Lily’s Café private dining room starting at 6 PM. Courses include a chef selection of hor d’oeuvres, pork & foie gras terrine, diver scallops, and venison, all paired with some of the finest wines France has to offer.

The Tria Cafe locations in Rittenhouse and Wash West will be pouring glasses and bottles of this year's vintage all day alongside a sparkling Gamay from the region.

Starting at 11 AM, South Philadelphia Taproom will be pouring $9 glasses of the Terres Dorees Beaujolais until supplies run out.
