Celebrate the Season at Old City's Historic Holiday Happy Hour Nights

Old City District has announced a new tradition starting Thursday, November 30 with the first installment of Old City's Historic Holiday Nights. Each Thursday between now and December 28th from 5 PM-8 PM, over 50 of the historic neighborhood’s restaurants, shops and museums will offer special discounts, seasonal menu items and spirited events.

The promotional nights kick off Thursday at 5:30 PM with a performance by the Philadelphia Youth Ballet and tree lighting ceremony at the Betsy Ross House. The ceremony will have tasty treats from Fezziwig’s Sweet Shoppe and a cider sampling from Austin Eastciders for guests to enjoy.

Each Thursday at 5:30 PM there will also be a “Tippler’s Yuletide Tour” bar crawl led by a Red Coat soldier that takes participants to four local pubs to enjoy draft beers and snacks. The tours start at the Betsy Ross and tickets must be purchased in advance here for $50.
