Another summer flew by — lots of drinks were enjoyed and memories made, but the fun isn’t over yet! There’s one more unofficial weekend of summer left before the pumpkin beers are back on tap and the kids are back to school. It’s Labor Day Weekend here in Philadelphia, meaning it’s time to enjoy a drink and soak up the sun until football season starts.

Parks on Tap
Catch this traveling beer garden at Clark Park in West Philly throughout Labor Day Weekend. Sip on local drafts from Evil Genius and Sly Fox and cocktails like a "whiskey root beer" along with sandwiches and snacks all weekend long. Hours are Wednesday & Thursday 5 PM-10 PM, Friday 4 PM-11 PM, Saturday 1 PM-11 PM, and Sunday & Monday 12 PM-10 PM. (4398 Chester Ave.)

Lace up your roller skates, because it’s the last weekend of the RiverRink Summerfest! As well as skating, you can check out the new carnival rides, imbibe at the Chickie’s & Pete’s Waterfront Crabshack, play some mini golf, and hang out at the lodge. The Independence Seaport Museum is opening their pop-up beer garden this weekend in honor of Labor Day. Bask in some great views of the river, have a few drinks, eat some food, and watch the fireworks on Saturday. Hours are Friday 3 PM-11 PM with fireworks happening around 9:30 PM. Citizens Bank Park

Back for its 7th year, Jay Z’s music festival will be taking over the Benjamin Franklin Parkway this weekend. Musical performers include Kendrick Lamar, Nicki Minaj, Post Malone, Meek Mill, Diplo, Miguel, Janelle Monae, Alessia Cara and many more. Two day passes are still on sale. (Benjamin Franklin Parkway)

Visit Northeast Philly this weekend for the longest running German volksfest in the US. The Cannstatter will be hosting this huge party equipped with three full days of German beer and wine, traditional German food, crafts, amusement rides, music and more! Tickets are $6 for one day, $9 for two days, and $11 for all three. Saturday and Sunday the festival runs from 12 PM-10 PM and Monday it goes from 12 PM-8 PM. (9130 Academy Road)
