Imbibe With the Bears at the Philly Zoo Summer Ale Festival, June 22
Beer and bites meet bears and birds at the Philadelphia Zoo’s Summer Ale Festival, which is back back for another year on Saturday, June 22 from 7 PM - 10 PM. Hang out with your friends in the company of exotic animals, food trucks and live music at this craft beer fest that takes place throughout the zoo’s lush grounds and exhibits.
Your $65 general admission ticket includes entrance to the event, a souvenir tasting cup, and all the beer you can drink from over 50 craft breweries. If you’re coming via public transit, you can hop a ride on the free shuttle from 30th and Market Street. There’s also a VIP option available for $85 that offers a 6 PM entry, giving you an extra hour of drinking. If you don't feel like drinking, designated drivers can attend for just $35, but the event is only open to guests who are 21 and older (in other words, leave the kids at home this time).
