Northern Liberties' 2nd Street Festival is Celebrating Its 11th Year, August 4

Northern Liberties’ annual 2nd Street Festival will return for its 11th year on Sunday, August 4 and will span 2nd Street from Germantown to Spring Garden from 12 PM - 10 PM.

With over 150 craft vendors and 20 food trucks, this incredibly popular festival promises to be an amazing time as always, and founders Owen Kamihira (Bar Ferdinand and El Camino Real), Oron Daskal (North Bowl) and William Reed (Standard Tap) will work towards raising funds for the neighborhood, as they have during previous festivals. Over the past three years, the event raised $60,000 that went towards a business improvement district in Northern Liberties.

Food trucks like Poi Dog, Nomad Pizza, and Mama's Meatballs will be on site serving up plenty of snacks for guests to try while they explore crafts made by local artisans and sip local beers. Live entertainment will perform across four stages featuring Philadelphia musicians, and beer gardens will be serving up cold brews. Stop in at classic NoLibs brick & mortar spots like El Camino Real, Standard Tap, Cantina Dos Segundos, Bourbon & Branch, North Bowl, Urban Village, & Jerry's Bar.

Stop by the 2nd Street Festival on August 4 for great food, local vendors, and to celebrate the neighborhood while raising money for its development.
