What: 100% of tips donated for medical care to family
Come join guest bartenders Billy King (Former Philadelphia 76ers President and GM) Scott Rego, Equipment Manager for Philadelphia 76ers, and Matt Cord, radio host of 93.3 WMMR at Downey's this Thursday night at 8PM to assist a local family in need in their fight against cancer. Johnene Michele Vorholy, was diagnosed with small bowel cancer in November 2008 and is currently receiving treatment in Mesa, Arizona, Johnene is 33 years old, a physical therapist and marathon runner. Since her diagnosis, she has undergone four surgeries and multiple chemotherapy treatments. The care she is receiving in Arizona is of an alternative nature; however, it is not covered under many insurance policies, including hers. 100% of the tips received during the evening will be donated directly to Johnene's care.
