Ristorante Panorama: World Record for Most Wines on Tap

Drink Philly visited Ristorante Panorama, one of the mainstays in Philadelphia’s fine wine community for around twenty plus years.

If you’ve visited their bar, you may notice something unusual – tons of wines on tap. At any given time, there are around 120 ready to pour. Using a special nitrogen-based system, wines can be stored and served for longer periods of time with very minimal oxidation.

Housing this many wines secured Panorama a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records for Most Wines on Tap.

Owner Luca Sena and General Manager Bill Eccelston gave us some insight into the workings at Panorama – how it got its start, and what they offer.
