We’ve reached the chilly part of autumn, but happily there are two harvest-focused happy hours on opposite sides of town to keep you warm tonight. In West Philadelphia, Daniel Stern’s MidAtlantic Restaurant & Tap Room is teaming with Stoudt’s Brewing Company and Revolution Cider to throw an “All Things Apple” event. From 5–7 PM, sip on $4 pours of a special Stoutdt’s Apple Pie firkin or $4 bottles of cider while snacking on $5 apple-inspired treats from the kitchen.
Over on Front Street, Joey and Lou Campanaro’s Village Belle is playing host to Art in the Age spirits and owner Steven Grasse. From 6–9 PM, a selection of $4 cocktails will be on offer, all featuring Root, Snap and Rhuby, as well as a menu of $7 food dishes that were created with those liquors. Nosh on Root-glazed short ribs while slinging back an adult Root-beer float, or try the Snap butternut squash gnocchi and a ginger-Snap milkshake. Either way, your cozied soul will thank you.
