South African Wine Dinner at Zahav, April 12

South African Wine Dinner at Zahav, April 12

We’re huge fans of the delectable eats at Michael Solomonov’s modern Israeli Zahav, and also of the great job his staff does offering cocktails and wines to enhance each meal. For an entirely different twist on pairing, the Society Hill restaurant is hosting “An Evening in South Africa,” an exclusive dinner held on April 12 at 7 PM.

Zahav has served vintages from AA Badenhorst Family Wines since opening — the South Aftrican winery produces a range of natural wines from the Swartland appellation. It just so happens that executive sous chef Dean Hildebrand is from Johannesburg, and he has come up with five courses of regional fare that will perfectly complement the vino.

Tickets are $75 each, including the food and drink, and are extremely limited (just 25 seats), so scope out the menu, below, and then call 215-625-8800 to secure your spot.
