Sunday, May 13 is Mother’s Day, a time to gather with the moms in your life and take them out for a meal to remember. What better way to thank her than with some great drinks along with the eats? Here are our recommendations for a festive happening with plenty of spirit. (Be sure to call ahead for reservations.)

Alba Vineyard: If mom is serious about wine, head to this Milton, NJ winery for a tasting and then have a picnic lunch with live music, followed by a tour of the grounds. The $10 tasting includes a special Mother’s Day etched wine glass (908.995.7800).

Davio’s: The Rittenhouse Northern Italian steakhouse is offering a special three-course menu ($55) from 1–8 PM, in addition to the regular bill of fare, and all moms will receive a free glass of prosecco with the meal (215-563-4810).

Reserve: Wow mom with the vaulted and frescoed ceilings at this Old City steakhouse, where a brunch buffet with Champagne is $35 per person (11 AM–4 PM; 215-964-6262).

Top of the Tower: This event space overlooking Logan Square is hosting a lavish brunch buffet that includes a free mimosa for mom ($50; 11 AM–3 PM; 215-567-8787).

Verdad: If you’re open to suburban options, this Bryn Mawr tequila bar will offer specials on Bloody Marys and mimosas during a special brunch buffet ($29; 10:30 AM–3 PM; 610-520-9100).
