Sailor Jerry Tiki Party at Rum Bar, May 24

Are you ready for a little tiki in your life? Just in time for the (unofficial) launch of the summer season, Rittenhouse’s Rum Bar is hosting Sailor Jerry national ambassador Paul Monahan for an evening behind the bar, mixing up special rum cocktails for just $5 a pop.

Starting at 9 PM on Thursday, May 24, a fiver will let you sip tropical treats like the Deckhand (Sailor Jerry, maple syrup, OJ and lime, blended with bananas); 124/Section T (Sailor Jerry, Coco Lopez, cream and pineapple, blended with blueberries); and Spiced Rum Buck (Sailor Jerry, lime, ginger and Angostura bitters on the rocks with a splash of soda).

Proprietor Adam Kanter will join in the mixing fun, and there’s no cover, so if you’re aching to get your Caribbean on, head to Rum Bar this Thursday.
