Cavanaugh's Rittenhouse Brew & Chew with Goose Island, November 14

For the November installment of the popular two-hour beer and food event known as Brew & Chew, Cavanaugh’s Rittenhouse will feature beers from Goose Island. One of America's longest running craft breweries, with origins as a brewpub opened in 1988 in Lincoln Park, the Chicago outfit was recently acquired by AB InBev.

However, control of the brewing operations have remained separate from macro production, and as of now, Goose Island continues to create full-flavored craft beer. Look for four of these beers at the November 14 event, paired with four different appetizers. With your RSVP (required) and $25 entry, you’ll get all you can drink of these brews from 7–9 PM, along with bites of all the apps. Not a bad way to spend a Wednesday evening.
