Weekend Picks: April 21 - 24

Thursday, April 21st
13th Annual Bunny Hop

What: Bar Crawl and Benefit
When: Thursday, April 21st, 6pm-2am
Where: Thirteen Fairmount area bars

This bar crawl not only features 13 awesome Fairmount area bars, but also benefits multiple charities. Sponsored by Jack Daniels and Blue Moon, the crawl starts at Urban Saloon or McKenna’s Irish Pub. $10 gets you a pair of festive ears and select Jack Daniels and Blue Moon specials. Participating bars are: Belgian Café, Bishop’s Collar, Illuminare, Jack’s Firehouse, London Grill, Rembrandt’s, St. Stephen’s Green, Bridgid’s, Lucky 7, Green Room and Gallagher’s on the Parkway.

Friday, April 22nd
Mass Appeal at Silk City

What: Classic hip-hop and party jams with drink specials
Where: Silk City Diner & Lounge, 5th & Spring Garden (Northern Liberites)
When: Friday, April 22nd, 10pm-2am

Cover is $5 at the door with drink specials. Music brought to you by DJ Cru Cut & Freddy Figgs.

 

Saturday, April 23rd
Memphis Taproom Beer Garden Opening


What: Beer Garden Opening
Where: Memphis Taproom, Cumberland & Memphis (Northern Liberties)
When: Saturday, April 23rd, 12pm and on

Also celebrating the arrival of the Memphis Taproom Hotdog Truck. There will be opening day celebrations all day. Rain date will be next Saturday, April 30th.

5th Annual Unleavened Party

What: Passover friendly party with drink/food specials
When: Saturday, April 23rd, 9pm-2am
Where: Mission Grill, Arch & 19th

Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Admission gets you one free drink, potato vodka drink specials all night with $5 wines and $6 call/sangria/margarita drinks. There will also be Passover friendly appetizers.

Sunday, April 24th
6th Annual Philadelphia Zombie Pub Crawl

What: Easter Day Zombie Pub Crawl
When: Sunday, April 24th 5pm-2am
Where: Starts/Ends at the TLA on South Street

The crawl starts at the the Theater of the Living Arts with a $5, all ages, event. The bar crawl starts at 7pm, afterwards participating zombies will crawl back to the TLA to close the night out. After part is at Fluid Nightclub. Bars featured on the crawl are: Tattooed Mom, Lickety Split, Copa Banana and the Legendary Dobbs.
