Philadelphia Zombie Crawl 2011

If you have never heard of the Philadelphia Zombie Crawl, you are missing out (or a zombie).

Every year enthusiasts from Philly and surrounding areas dress up as zombies and trek from bar to bar in search of drinks and/or brains.

2011 marks it’s 6th year, and this season falls on April 24th. Yes, that’s Easter Sunday. We’ll let you draw the conclusion.

The crawl itself starts at the Theater of the Living Arts on South Street at 5pm. Admission is $5 and is all ages, 21+ for people drinking at the TLA’s two bars.

There will be makeup artists there willing to turn you into a zombie for $10, themed music, a live performance from Rainbow Destroyer and prizes to best dressed zombie.

At 7pm the bar crawl starts. Participating bars are Tattooed Mom, Lickety Split, Copa Banana and The Legendary Dobbs. At 10pm participants make their way back to the TLA for the after party until 12am. The admission is $5 (free for those who made it to the opening). The after-after party is at Fluid Nightclub until 2am.

For more information, you can visit their website here, as well as read up on Zombie Prom and Zombie beach party.
