Haunt at Bridget Foy’s
For the second year in a row, Alison Hangen is bringing a really gourd time to Queen Village! We’re talking an immersive, sinister experience: tarot card readings, scary movies, costume competitions, and even some seasonal merch…all by candlelight in an atmosphere that’s as unsettling as it is classy. Swing by and sink your teeth into the Creature of the Night (vodka, espresso, coffee liqueur, Averna, cherry syrup splatter) or the Don’t Text Your Hex (Banhez mezcal, orange liqueur, fig & sage cordial, lemon).

Monster Vegan
One of the best vegan joints in the city feels extra special this time of year. Every Thursday in October, Monster Vegan offers a killer combo: dinner, cocktails, and classic horror movie showings in the private, surround sound movie room. You can’t go wrong with their Sandwiches From the Grave or Tomb of the Tiki cocktails – “tropical, sweet, deadly, and served in a big skull.”
Bonus: Monster Vegan is horror themed all year long. Ghouls and witches, unite!

Doom
It’s like grabbing a drink at the Addams Family mansion…but better. Dark, gothic, and heavy metal-inspired, Doom is one of our favorite spooky season watering holes. This hauntingly chic spot offers all the pub food crowd pleasers, scary good vegan dishes, and the tastiest bone marrow, too. Stop in, grab a beer or a cocktail, and park yourself underneath their iconic, satanic chandelier. Bone appetit!

Nightmare Before Tinsel
With two floors of extra eerie vibes, plenty of boos (you get it, right?), and creepy media favorites, Nightmare Before Tinsel checks every spooky season box. Cocktails in blood bags, bubbling cauldrons, and witches' boots? You got it. Widow’s Bay, Pirates of the Caribbean, and IT screenings? Of course. Some good ol’ Edgar Allen Poe references? Yes, indeed!
Be sure to check out the Eye of Newt (tequila, coconut puree, orange, grenadine) and the Witch, Please! (Absolut vanilla, Bailey’s, pumpkin spice).

Uptown Beer Garden's Haunted Mansion
This 350-seat, year-round favorite we all know and love is decked out Haunted Mansion style and will “carry you into the boundless realm of the supernatural!” The decorations are thoroughly spooky (and Instagrammable), the cocktails are festive, and the snacks are always deadly delicious.
Who knows, you may even run into a tribute to Dolly Parton or Tim Curry. In a manner of speaking.

Craftsman Row Saloon
Led by George and Vasiliki Tsiouris of Drury Beer Garden, Craftsman Row Saloon's Nightmare Before Christmas: The Enchanted Nightmare is finally open and ready to scare. Grab a Frankenburger (pepper jack, jalapeño bolts, fried onions, pickle eyes, lettuce, tomato, spicy barbecue sauce) and explore the haunted forest, or sip on a Candytini, Bloody Nightcap, or Pumpkin Marg while having your fortune told in the candlelight. The Caramel Apple Crypt milkshake (vanilla ice cream, apple liquor, sugared apple, graham cracker crumble, caramel) is also said to be bewitching.
And don’t forget to check out something you definitely don’t see every day: the handmade, enormous sandworm!
