Center City’s Restaurant Week is coming up in September. TD Bank (not sure what they have to do with food) will be sponsoring and it will take place from September 12^th to the 16^th and then again from the 18^th to the 23^rd.  All participating restaurants will be offering $35 per person three-course dinners and many will also offer $20 lunches that will consist of three courses as well.  A partnership with Philly Homegrown makes sure that a lot of the food is locally sourced.

Here are some of our picks for Restaurant Week and some delicious examples of what they’re offering:

Amada

Aged Machego Cheese, Garlic Shrimp, Scallops, Chickpeas with Spinach, Blueberry Swirl Ice Cream

Lolita

Seafood cocktail including shrimp, mahi mahi and scallop ceviche, Enchilades Verdes, Mexican Chocolate Pot de Creme

Oyster House

4 Oysters on the ½ shell, Clams Casino, Crab Cake, Chocolate Pudding

Smokin’ Betty’s

Bison Sliders, Grilled Caesar Salad, Calamari Noodles, Chocolate Dulce de Leche Bars

Zahav

Hummus-tehina, Watermelon Salad, Fried Sweetbreads, Crispy Branzino, Almond-Apricot Rugelach
