2nd Annual Brews & Bowties Beer Gala

Where: Ethical Society of Philadelphia, 1906 S. Rittenhouse Square

Price: $60, $55 six-pack group discount, $30 designated driver
The 2nd Annual Brews and Bowties Beer Gala is a two night event urging you to dress as well as your brews taste. Cocktail attire is required (no jeans!) with bow ties strongly encouraged (there will also be a seminar teaching you how to tie one). For three hours come enjoy regional craft brews and sample hors d’oeuvres from a multitude of local breweries and establishments. Admission grants you access to beers, food, live music, a keepsake glass and the satisfaction of knowing that a portion of your ticket is going to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

First Friday with Triumph Brewing Co.
What: First Friday art show

This month, we’ll be featuring beer and food from Triumph Brewing Co. who will be bringing a few of their tasty micro brews, as well as pretzels bites and hummus. There is absolutely no cover charge. Sunday, April 8
7th Annual Philly Zombie Crawl
What: Zombie themed pub crawl
Where: Begin/end: Theater of Living Arts, 334 South St. (South Philly)
When: 6 PM–2 AM, Sunday, April 8
Price: $5 for admission to TLA, PAYG
The 7th annual zombie pub crawl takes place this Sunday starting at the TLA at 6 PM. Zombie makeup artists will be on hand (it is recommended you get there early for this) to help your transformation to the undead. At 7:30 PM zombie Jesus will lead the march up South street where you can feel free to stumble into several bars offering specials, including Tatooed Mom’s, Manny Browns, Lickety Split, Copabanana and The Legendary Dobbs (for a listing of available specials, click here). Afterwards everyone is invited back to the TLA for the closing party at 10 PM.
