2nd Annual Brews & Bowties, April 5
We may have grown accustomed to the impressive array of craft beers at our fingertips nowadays in Philadelphia, but sipping an assortment of fantastic brews shouldn’t feel mundane. Add flair to your suds and bring back the thrill at the second annual Brews & Bowties event, happening on April 5 at the Ethical Society of Philadelphia.
Sweep through the door of this grand manse on Rittenhouse Square in your dapperest duds as you prepare to sip regional brews and nibble on hors d’oeuvres surrounded by bow ties of all shapes, colors and sizes. No jeans are allowed at this beer shindig, where lessons in proper tying of neck silks will be offered by master tailors from Henry A. Davidsen to those in need.
Sponsored by the good gents at Rolling Barrel Events, the party benefits the Philadelphia chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, so your $60 ticket (or $55 if you pick up a sixer) will go to good use. For your entrance fee you’ll drink beers all night (6–9 PM), nosh on snacks, receive a keepsake glass and enjoy live music, all while looking your swankiest best. Snag tickets now, space is limited.
UPDATE: Use promo code "BOWTIE2012" to get $10 off your ticket. Plus, know that your funds will help Victory's Matt Kreuger in his quest to become LLS Man of the Year.
