Fall StrEAT Food Festival Hits Manayunk, September 14

Visit Main Street in Manayunk for this year’s Fall StrEAT Food Festival, which is taking place for the first time on a weeknight on Thursday, September 14.
The festival will kick off at 5 PM with over 50 participating food trucks and 20 other gourmet vendors. Some of the many trucks that have signed on for the event include Bonjour Creperie, The Cow and The Curd, Humpty’s Dumplings, Lil Pop Shop, Mana’s Meatballs, Oink and Moo BBQ, Revolution Taco, Surf and Turf Truck, Sweet Box, The Tot Cart, and Waffles & Wedges—just to name a few!
This year’s featured fall ingredient is apples, so expect to see a lot of unique dishes including the fruit. There will also be a farm stand at the fest where you can purchase some fresh produce to go.
Other highlights include live music all night on three different stages. There will also be sidewalk sales and promotions from stores along Main Street. Finally, festival sponsors include Hornitos, Effen and Knob Creek so expect some good cocktails mixed up by those folks.
Manayunk Restaurant Week also kicks off the next day and runs through Thursday, September 28 with specially priced meals at participating local spots.
